The world’s oldest bottled single malt whisky is on the shelf for £10,000. The 70 year old Scotch has been in a cask since before World War II, and is being sold by Elgin based specialist Gordon and MacPhail – located in the city and Royal Burgh of Elgin, Scotland. They bottle over 300 expressions of single malt Scotch Whisky from distilleries throughout Scotland. These whiskies are enjoyed in the UK and over 50 markets worldwide.
The tipple, Mortlach, is described as a ‘delicate, fresh, vital and fruity whisky’.
There are just 54 bottles available with each one costing £10,000. So, make sure you get your order in early to avoid being disapointed!
