Are The Days Of Cheap Australian Wine Over?

The bad news just seems to continue in the Australian wine industry. After years of drought and overproduction grape prices have fallen by more than 30 per cent this year. This week an industry chief warned that the supply of cheap Australian wine to supermarkets will dry up.
But is that really such a bad situation? A load of wine that was rubbish anyway will be prices off the shelves, and a few greedy investors will get burnt. I do feel sorry for the farmers but for any Aussie making quality wines that taste of where they’re from the future still looks bright.
